Today, 10 Ahwaris got arrested by the Iraqi police in Ahwar/Amara province in a protest against the oil company that has taken their native land by force.

Many of our brothers are now in custody and the police say they will continue arresting them till they stop the protests.
for those who don't know about the humanitarian crisis in Ahwar, people have been protesting to end the crisis since the beginning of this year and the situation is not going anywhere better as Iraq is continuing its plans to replace the indigenous Ahwaris from their homeland for economic and political benefits.
